Strenuous deadlines. High-pressure cases. Challenging advocacy cases. All characteristic scenarios typical for a day in the life of Attorney Kris Helmick, of Pacific West Injury Law. Fitness is often cited as a natural antidote to stressful and complex work scenarios, and avid fitness advocate Helmickrecently saw an opening in the industry.
Prompted by gym closures this past year, the concept for Fit Club LV was born between Helmick and his business partners, Ryan Diaz and Gavin McHale. Thus far, it’s been an overwhelming success.
“It’s a trainer-focused gym…. A lot of other gyms don’t bring in independent contractor trainers, and we’ve created a home for over thirty trainers that thrive there as well….bringing in their clients and becoming busier and busier over time.”
Could expansion mean multiple Fit Club LV locations in the near future? “[We’re] always thinking about the future, for sure” Kris says….. “eventually, we want to open up another location in town and probably another one in Arizona…”
As Pacific West Injury Law founder and lead attorney, Mr. Helmick walks clients through their personal injury cases every step of the way.
“When most new clients come into my office, they are stressed out and honestly don’t know what to do or how to deal with the insurance companies.” He says. “At the end of the consultation, they express to me they feel like a ton of weight has just been lifted off their shoulders and feel confident they can now just focus on getting better, knowing their case is being properly handled.”
Mr. Helmick says he experiences gratifying moments through his practice on a regular basis. In the end stages of representing a client, he says, “that moment at the end of a client’s case, where I am able to give them their check and see their expression of gratitude is really what makes everything worth it at the end of the day. No better feeling than being able to help people.”
