– By Ashlee DeMartino

“I played hockey my whole life.  It’s molded me into the person I am today,” said Nick Pomponio, owner and head attorney of Pomponio Injury Law.

Nick Pomponio grew up in Michigan, where he was born hockey player.  The lessons he learned on the ice: hard work, determination, and teamwork have followed him his whole life.  Hockey took Pomponio to Massachusettswherein he attended Merrimack College on a full-ride scholarship to play Division One ice hockey.   After graduating with his degree in Communications, Nick took off to Europe to play professional hockey for several years. Knowing he could not play hockey forever, Pomponio decided to head back to the states and go to law school, graduating from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, in 2012.   The journey that has taken me to where I am today is not your typical journey, but I think the path I have taken has helped set me up for success as an attorney,” he said.

“I thoroughly enjoy my job and assisting so many individuals in their time of need.  The thrill of victory I get when I settle a case for a client brings back some memories of when I was playing The personal injury world is an exciting environment and an energizing experience,” he said.  Not only is Pomponio known amongst the legal community and his clients as being able to resolve cases very quickly, but also for getting the maximum amount possible.  He says, “I’m not saying I’m smarter than any other attorney or a magician for that matter.  I get the great results that I do because I am putting in the work that many others don’t.  While working six or seven days at times may seem daunting, I am more than happy to go that extra mile for my clients.”

In 2018, he opened his law firm, Pomponio Injury Law, to focus on providing the highest level of customer service to all of his clients, believing that each client is not a number, but rather a part of the family.   “I handle every aspect of the client’s representation, from the initial consultation through settlement.  When it comes to representing my clients, I am a very aggressive individual I go out and get what I want for my clients A lot of hard work goes into that,” he said.

When this workaholic is not at the office, you still might find him on the ice.  “I still try and play hockey once a week.  I sponsor an adult league team at City National Arena here in Las Vegas.  I also enjoy going out to dinnerhanging out with friends, and traveling from time to time,” he said.

Pomponio’s hard work and dedication are paying off. He is currently working on expanding his practice in Las Vegas and opening a second office in Newport Beach, California in the new year as he also holds a license to practice law in California.
