Amanda Lynn Estates: An International Powerhouse

Amanda Lynn L’Hommedieu is a powerhouse talent—a model, luxury real estate expert, and now a rising TV star. She currently is licensed with Nestseekers International, where she practices both residential real estate and as a yacht broker. She can also be seen on Netflix’s top-ranked show “Selling Sunset” on seasons seven and eight.

Joining Selling Sunset happened naturally for L’Hommedieu. She and castmate Bre Tiesi have been friends for over a decade, and their genuine connection added a unique dynamic to the show. L’Hommedieu also has extensive modeling and TV show experience. To date, she has collaborated with multiple worldwide networks, generating viral content often reaching millions of views. In addition to “Selling Sunset”, she has also appeared on several real estate programs on HGTV.

Transitioning to Selling Sunset felt natural, especially with her current social media focus on real estate content. She’s based in Beverly Hills, and she loves touring and showcasing properties: “Showcasing properties is probably my favorite thing. I pride myself on learning everything about each property and being knowledgeable.”

While Selling Sunset isn’t scripted, L’Hommedieu explains that it’s still produced in a way that resembles a film, with multiple takes and staged scenes for impact. However, her real friendship with Bre made filming easier, as their conversations flowed naturally on camera. In Season 8, though, the Netflix star filmed only with Bre, not with other cast members, leaving her unsure which scenes would make the final cut.

L’Hommedieu remarks on the “small world” feel of LA real estate, saying, “I work in real estate every day, and like Vegas, LA is a big place but feels like little bubbles.” When discussing her current real estate brokerage, the powerhouse emphasizes that once you’re in the business, “you kind of know everyone.” Networking, she notes, has been crucial both for her real estate career and for getting onto Selling Sunset. L’Hommedieu had interviewed with the show multiple times before landing her role, and she couldn’t be happier to be part of the cast.

The Selling Sunset experience has been a fantastic experience for L’Hommedieu, who appreciates working with friends on set. She even knew the designer and owner of one featured property, Jennifer Harrell, from her time filming with HGTV. “Everyone is connected, so it was very easy and fun for me—no drama!”

The rising star’s presence on Selling Sunset highlights her passion for real estate, but her career extends beyond that. While serving as a yacht broker with Nest Seekers International, a brokerage founded by Eddie Shapiro, she manages both local and international clients.

L’Hommedieu values her independence, adding, “I get to dabble in whatever I want, and I’m not tied down to any network. That’s the beauty of it.”

Manifesting success through an abundance mindset is central to L’Hommedieu’s approach. With high-profile projects, like a $70 million listing in Carpinteria, she’s focused on creating balance in her life, feeling good, and inspiring others. “I’m fortunate. I know amazing people and have incredible opportunities because of how I’ve positioned myself.”

Her ultimate goal? L’Hommedieu wants to inspire others to go after their dreams, believing that hard work always pays off.

“Women can have the full package—we can be amazing moms, partners, businesswomen. I’ve always been vocal about that, and my work and attitude reflect it. If you believe in yourself and are willing to put in the effort, you’ll succeed.”

With her positivity and drive, Amanda Lynn L’Hommedieu is indeed a force to be reckoned with, inspiring others to follow their dreams with confidence and determination.
