Inspired by five star resort settings and hospitality services, Sikara Med Spa fosters a luxury feel in which each treatment room mimics a private suite. Ali decided to hang up her hat in the financial services industry for a few years as she focused on her family as a stay at home mom. Eventually, both her and her husband, Sameer Sheikh, were ready for a change in the career department. Ali explains,

“My husband, who is Sikara’s medical director, was an internal medicine specialist in an in-patient setting for over 18 years. The heartache he dealt with at the hospital on a regular basis made him realize that he wanted to move to an industry where could help people feel good about themselves.”

Ali shares, “I personally have sought help for the acne scars I developed in my teens. It’s an effective non-surgical face lift.” Although this procedure is most commonly used for the mid and lower face to correct sagging skin and or jowls, Ali mentions that it can be performed all over the body for the same lifting and tightening effect. PDO threads can also correct skin texture irregularities.
