How William Tandiono-Cellona Stepped Up To Transform Care
The founder of Tancell Care has become a powerful force in reimagining what support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities should look like. His mission did not begin in a boardroom, but in a moment of personal connection.
“When I cared for a family member with Down syndrome, it opened my heart to extend my service to others who may or may not have the resources to care for their loved ones,” William shares. That experience revealed a profound gap, not just in care, but in empowerment. He noticed that in Nevada, many providers focused on management, while few prioritized building confidence, independence, and true community integration.
This realization led him to create Tancell Care, grounded in what he describes as a shift from “care as containment” to “care as enabling.”
Through a full spectrum of supports, from residential programs to day habilitation and pre-vocational services, William built an ecosystem that focuses on growth, dignity, and self-determination. Even as the company expanded, one principle never changed: authentic human connection.
“We train our employees to carry a small-business mindset, one where they feel personally invested in exceptional service and individualized care,” William explains.
This approach protects the warmth and responsiveness that families value most, even as the organization grows.

Today, Tancell Care is leading the industry into a more innovative, neurodiversity-affirming future. William has championed updated Positive Behavior Support, adaptive communication technologies, interdisciplinary treatment models, and adapted therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, and FBA, all tailored for the IDD community.
And the impact is real. He recalls one client from 2018 who entered care with high acuity and required constant supervision. Years later, her story is one of transformation. “It is moments like these that remind me why this work matters,” William says. “Watching someone gain freedom and belief in themselves reaffirms our purpose every single day.”
Beyond healthcare, William’s movement Equilora merges high fashion with authentic advocacy, proving that representation is not a trend; it is a cultural standard. As he puts it, “Inclusion should not be an obligation; it should be a standard of excellence.”
Tancell Care is more than a company. Under the leadership of William, it is a movement reshaping care, culture, and possibility.
